Our Story

Our story begins

A generation ago, with our grandfather, Spyros a respected builder of his time who first shaped his craft on the island of Corfu. There, he devoted his hands and heart to constructing homes and laying not only foundations of stone, but of resilience, dignity, and purpose.

Those were years of hardship. Resources were scarce, food was not always guaranteed, and money carried a weight far greater than it does today. Yet within those limitations lived a quiet strength: people persevered, families stood united, and every effort no matter how small held profound value. It is a legacy that continues to define us.

Two generations

Spyros built his life alongside his wife, Eleftheria, and together they raised two children, Angeliki and Thanasis our father, the bridge to the second generation. Thanasis later married our mother, Mary, and together they brought us into the world. Spyros and Dimitra the third generation of a family rooted in creation, care, and continuity.

The discovery

Years later, we found ourselves standing before what time had nearly erased: an old structure known as "Kidonitis". Once a home, later a storage space, it had been reduced to fragments crumbling walls and fading memories. But where others might have seen ruin, we saw potential. We saw beauty waiting to be revealed.

Rebuilding together

With deep respect for its past and a shared vision for its future, we began to rebuild. From the ground up, with our own hands, we gave it new life. Our father and grandfather, true to their craft, carried the weight of construction. We contributed in every way we could through labor, support, ideas, and care. Our mother nourished both body and spirit, always present with warmth and inspiration, while our sister brought her own energy and creativity to the process.

Kidoni is born

What stands today Kidoni, is more than a restored building. It is a living expression of who we are a place shaped by effort, love, and authenticity. Every corner reflects a personal story, every detail carries intention.
